Hi, family! I hope you are enjoying this mild February weather. Today at church, we sang Rene Clausen's "Oh My Love's Like A Red, Red Rose" (lyrics and original melody by Robert Burns), and it was beautiful. We were accompanied by our talented pianist Charles Hitchcock, as well as a cellist and violinist from the Wichita Symphony. What a treat! How lovely. The music reminds me of our Grandpa. He loved to sing the Scotch ballads he knew to us. Grandpa was a romantic at heart. Thanks Katie, for stirring up some pleasant memories.
