Hey, Fiddler Family (and their Relations)! Are you ready to reconnect? Let's use this blog to share and respond to the stories of our daily lives--from the monumental events to the everyday humdrums. Write about the books you're reading, the movies you're watching, the politics that piss you off. Let's share our frustrations and hurts, along with our successes and joys. Poetry, prose, lists, prayers, images--anything goes on this blog. It's time to reconnect.

I think everybody is looking forward to Spring. I love to watch cardinals in flight. They are beautiful birds. Robins stay home for the winter. They usually do not migrate. They chatter every morning outside our window. Robins are interesting birds to watch, because they watch back. Your post could have been written by Dad. He was a true bird watcher. I think he preferred Spring in his later years. Lady Spring, we are listening for your sprightly footsteps. We know we have to be patient, but we are eager to inhale your beauty and charm. Thanks for your post Fiddler.
Spring has sprung, if only for a couple of days. :-) It was 70 yesterday, and it's in the 60s today. We took a lovely walk at the Chisolm Creek Park across the street this afternoon before Trent headed to Lawrence to watch the KU game with his mom.
I like Margaret and Honor's ode to spring in these posts. I, too, am ready for the meteorologists to "become bored with the phrase 'sunny and mild.'" I love it!
I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day! Trent and I are enjoying making our final utility payments for the house in Georgia and reveling in the beauty of a revised budget that doesn't include a mortgage payment for a vacant house. Weehaw!!
Happy Saturday!
