Hey, Fiddler Family (and their Relations)! Are you ready to reconnect? Let's use this blog to share and respond to the stories of our daily lives--from the monumental events to the everyday humdrums. Write about the books you're reading, the movies you're watching, the politics that piss you off. Let's share our frustrations and hurts, along with our successes and joys. Poetry, prose, lists, prayers, images--anything goes on this blog. It's time to reconnect.

Progress can be good, but it can be sad too, but you can find new places that will be part of Jacob's memories and when he is a young man with kids of him own he will tell them about the places his great aunt Carol took him after school. Perhaps Beth and Peter will bring him to KC and take him to Crown Center for some creative adventures their.
Ok I'm not stupid, but the last word of my post should have been "there" not their, of course I might still be using poor grammar. I need to take one of Katie's classes. Can you give us some on line instruction Dr. Mason? Of course sometimes simple proof reading is good, but I am lazy, oh well.
I wish I could be with everyone in Emporia. I would like to ride the elevators. (I have had plenty of practice.) I think Katie would like teaching at ESU, but Wichita seems like a better town to put down roots. I agree with Fiddler, Jacob will remember these days spent with you, Carol, forever. The balcony in Plumb Hall was cool. It is sad to think it is gone. But the best is yet to be, they say. Just hanging out with my Fiddler Kin anywhere is EXCELLENT.
No more rotunda? I'd be afraid to walk across that tiled circle, too. I wonder why they closed it in. Did someone get hurt?
So far, I'm enjoying Wichita very much. It will be even better when Trent gets here. :-)
As far as editing goes, Margaret, we're not very harsh critics. We all make mistakes in our rush to get our ideas down on paper (or screen). We care more about WHAT you say, not HOW you say it -- though I love the way your voice always comes through in your writing.
And I agree with Honor -- hanging out with my Fiddler Kin (even online) is a blast. :-)
