Well, I got my braces on today. They feel really wierd but I'm looking forward to the end result. Here is the picture that Katie suggest I post. 3 years from now I will be a supermodel. It took about 1 1/2 hours to put on. Now the challenge to to learn on the foods I can & cannot eat. Should be interesting.

Yay, Beth!!! I love ya, and you're beautiful!! I agree with your and my moms. You deserve to put yourself first and take care of yourself. How else can we manage to take care of those around us, if we're not meeting our own needs?
Good luck with those things. I know they can be painful sometimes, but (as I'm sure you already know) your mouth eventually gets used to the new machinery, and you'll feel so fabulous when you get those suckers off.
