toilet paper

Well what about the price of toilet paper. I mean come on, nearly ten bucks for 24 rolls! Now that is poopie. I don't have to drink milk and I can try to combine my car trips to save fuel, but what do you do about TP? It's not like you can re-use it or skip using it, ok maybe you can skip, but I don't think I really care to go there. Anyway just thought Iwould throw that out for a deep discusion.

They can get away with charging that much because people need TP. The pioneers used corn cobs. Later, some people used pages from catalogs. That was back in the day of outhouses. I do not want to go backwards in time. I guess we just pay and forget other "luxaries." A TP war would involve a boycott. I guess we could start using Depends. (Don't leave home without them.) That would be expensive too.

Aren't there toilets now that will aid in the cleaning process without your having to use TP? I would imagine it's like a cross between the spray from the drinking fountain and an enema. Oh, happy thought.
